za treborit : We had a music teacher who liked to begin most lessons by slippering a couple of lads for some made up breach of the rules, only one or two whacks, but very hard. Then one day a group of us were sent to him at break to be punished for actually misbehaving, this should have been a proper six of the best, to our amazement he gave us detentions, I've never forgiven him!

za dagworth : As I might have mentioned before, the plimsol was the only implement I was punished with at school, between the age of 8 and 9. A new teacher to the school (only lasted a year) was very generous with punishment and not a day went by without a good quarter of the class being slippered for poor spelling in the mid day test, making noises or generally doing something he didn't approve of; girls as well as boys.
It was because of misdemeanours and other matters that I got away with at school after this and then in my working life, that I sought punishment. For me, an over the knee spanking, the plimsol and the strap were essential warm-ups, eventually leading to the cane.
